Author: Ed Valentine
Subject: 7517
Posted: 07/March/2013 at 9:50am

One of our terrific long time customers stopped by the other day to say hello and order a machine.

Although he is a wonderful person, one of his characteristics is that he is "going in circles" focusing on too many projects. He can't focus on one thing at a time, solve that situation, then move to the next. And, I have witnessed this as common with several others as well.

So, I got to thinking and mentioned to him an interesting item I once read years ago about the secret of a Lion Tamer's success.

Along with the whip and pistol strapped to his belt, the lion tamer's key tool is a four legged stool. The stool is held by the seat and the legs are thrust toward the face of the lion.

Why?

Apparently, the lion attempts to focus on all four legs at once, thereby overwhelming its senses. As a result, the lion is unable to respond aggressively. Like the lion, all of us including the customer above must learn to narrow our focus in an attempt to solve situations, etc.

Hope this helps.

Knock'em down one at a time!

Best to all;
Ed Valentine
cross-american corp.
