The above URL is a link to an article I wrote regarding changes to the new Xactimate 28 and associated changes to price lists. This change in labor efficiencies, minimums, and base service charges will mean a net loss in estimate value of between 3-15% on everything I have tested. I DO NOT AGREE with this change. It directly contradicts everything Xactware has documented up to this point and loses a great degree of accuracy in estimating. If any reader is an Xactimate user, please test these changes out and inform me of the results.
