If you are in the USA you should be OK as they mostly offer 20 amp but in Canada only 15 amps.

I would not recommend that you play with 220 amp...electric devices can be dangerous. You may wish to put a third 15 amp electrical cord on your unit. Although that is illegal in Canada.

Hello,

Can anyone recommend an inverter that would work well with a 40 AMP portable (I believe it draws 20 for heat and another 20 amp for everything else).
