Personally I would go with Shaw Stain Resistant Carpets...only because I am more familiar with Shaw. Both technologies are probably quite similar. This type of technology provides us carpet cleaners with easier cleaning, especially when it comes to carpet stains.

Good evening.

A quick thought popped in my head regarding carpeting and I thought maybe you would be good people to answer this.

We are torn between Karastan SmartStrand and a Shaw Nylon type carpeting for our home.

Both make stain resistance claims, but we aren't sure what to believe. As professional carpet cleaners, what is your experience regarding stain removal from these carpet types? If you were to carpet your home, which one would you choose?
