Investing in a truck mount is a solid plan, but timing is everything. Maybe as the business gains more momentum, that upgrade will be the move that takes your carpet cleaning business it to the next level.

Now, about the pricing game. Charging a bit more for heavily soiled carpets is just good business sense. It's like a hazard fee for diving into the dirt and grime, putting in extra effort, and using more cleaning products.

Consider it the surcharge for transforming a neglected carpet into a pristine masterpiece.

I use a Mytee Vortex. I have a powerful generator to run it because if you connect both of the electrical cords to someones home it will pop the breaker. I have both a tm and electric. I prefer my Vortex as it sits in the van like a tm and I can run about 175 feet of hose. When something breaks its easier to fix. With the vortex I mostly do tile and carpet. You don't have to clean at 500psi. The Ninja has an adjustable pump and you can clean at a lower psi if you wish.
