While I was looking at a smaller machine.....I came across the Mytee Speedster 1003DX.
As opposed to the Sandia Plastics "6 gall* 2/3 equivalent, love to hear some feedback/reviews on the Mytee 1003DX |

This is a great machine for the money(around $2000)especially if you live in the USA, so you can use the heaters it has. You do have to plug it into 2 - 20 amp circuits to use those heaters. IMO, this is the strongest 2 vac portable you can buy in the USA today, bar none.Only reason to look at anything else is if you decide you want more vac power than 2 motors can provide. Then you need to get a 3 or 4 vac machine. But you will not get heaters built in on those, so you need to decide what is most important to you, and how much money you want to spend to get it. If $2000 is your limit, the MYTEE 1003 and 1005DX machines will do the best job for the dollars spent.

I have a couple. I've only had minor problems. One is to make sure the waste hose connection is checked regularly. It can pivot and point the incoming water at the ball valve. I suspect the pump isn't the best quality but I can't be sure. Priming the thing a be a pain, even with the priming valve, for a number of reasons I won't get into here. The tank is way too small, but it's way too small on most machines, imho. Edited by FriendlyHammer - 01/March/2008 at 8:31pm |

I was also thinking of purchasing a Mytee 1003dx machine.But then after talking with Ed @ Cross-America about the Recoil XPS im uncertain which unit will provide me with the best cleaning in the US.I plan on getting a generator to plant in my van and keeping the machine in van as much as possable.Superglide Ken what are your thoughts on the 2 machines please? You seem to have an awful lot of scientific knowledge on the specs and what they actually mean for performance.

Bah,disregard last post.Funny what another hour of looking through these forums will tell you lol.Seems to me the Recoil is the machine and $1k isnt really much when looking to do the best job with comparable machines.

While reading the above questions and particularly, the specifications:
2-3 stages/ 450 psi (driven by a smaller motor) / 2,000 watt heater I was shaking my head a bit.
Only because this conglomeration would require 3 cords. No other way otherwise, it would be the Fourth of July in December.
basic rule of thumb: Can't cheat "Mother Watts" ; no way.
Hope whatever choice one makes in equipment that it is always based on facts and not on any "sugar-coating".
Just my opinion;

Tony;
Do not worry because I'm sure that everything will fall into place. Even though you have had some unfortunate situations in the past, I believe that you will have a great future of success.
The very best;
