Master Steam Clean;
IMHO, there are hugh differences in both systems that really matter to someone when they are laboring day in and day out.
I personally feel that it is not my duty or is it an honorable thing to do, to point out on a public board any negatives (IMO) that someone else has on their unit---because I really do not care to be honest;rather I would highly suggest that you contact myself and I will be glad to spend as much time on the phone with you required to explain ALL the differences........and WHY they are (or should be) important to you both as a buyer...and as an Operator. This system is very well designed and built way above any other generic machine, period.
(Call me, Beats pounding the key board!!!-LOL)
And, oh, btw, the RECOIL-3XPS actually gets 500 (+) psi with great flow. BIG DIfference.
Hope to hear from you!

I wish you would comment on maybe one or two things you might disagree with with machine. I believe you know what your taling about , you cant voice your opinion on a fact that might be tru of the competitors. If you say something others will chime in backing you if a statement is tru.
I was commenting on both have 2/3 2inch out let mytee has lil bit more vac units 37,500 put a universal booster 5.7 domel and you a mytee that run 100 -150 ft about the same lift 127 i believe. The mytee appears to be a 1000 cheaper . And mytee is a good product as well .Now I jave done research and have only found maybe 20 negative comments on recoil but Ed your Custy service is the shizle meaning 100% in my book,But mytee sells more and with more units out there more complaints and more broken parts.
Unless Ed shares some insight other than the his unit being be built a lil bit better ,it appears that mytee is side by side besides the extra 50 psi pump.

Mytee sells for less because it has set its sights on those with little experience and even less cash in the bank. Ed sells to people who, well lets say, have learned that the difference between an Impala and a Cadillac is more than price but price is what makes a Caddie the choice between these two options among those who can afford to make the choice. It's a status statement that says you are heads above the other guys.
Both Ed and the folks at Mytee have their model of the ideal customer which are clearly not the same. Both have high customer satisfaction levels. Not saying those are equal, just that it is obvious from the fact that both are still in business and doing well. |

I am beginning to think Master Steam Cleaner is a Mytee plant. If he truly wanted to know what makes the Recoil superior he could pick up a phone and call Ed. Obviously he has no intentions to learn anything useful.
And since I have a Mytee I can tell you they aren't all that great and I am speaking from experience MSC. But they will do in a pinch. And they make great anchors and paperweights. Try one. They are powerful enough to do car detailing too. The Rug Doctor takes second place to the Mytee extractors. I didn't call them junk, just eluded to it and may I point out their vac booster can't work with heated units. Nuff said. Edited by duckcountry - 07/December/2008 at 3:50am |

You're joking, right? Did you read anything I said?
1. Bigger tanks,
2. Doesn't pump clean water from the clean tank into the dirty tank 100% of the time the pump is on, regardless of whether or not you are using the wand. (Turn the pump on the Mytee to 200 psi to do upholstery and the recovery tank will be full in 10 mintues without having ever used the wand. It is uesless for that purpose.)
3. Can easily be modified to autofill.
I know which one an informed professional would pick. I know which one a non-professional would pick. They aren't the same ones. Edited by FriendlyHammer - 07/December/2008 at 7:59pm |

One more thing. I DARE anyone to try to prove what I said about the Mytee is false. What the hell are you waiting for? Other than coming here to ask the same questions over and over again, do you have the balls to even go check it out? If not, you deserve what's coming to you.
I've tried to spare you the pain. The knife in now in your hands. Use it to divide truth from lies, or use it on yourself.

I thank FriendlyHammer for his insightful comments and truth.
There are a world of differences between both systems. Just like the difference between Carpet Cleaning prices of $4.95 per room, or $24.95 per room. More customers may be sold on "price" rather than those sold on "the right reasons" & results.
I am here at the Plant until 3pm (MI time zone), and am willing to help answer any and all questions you may have because I realize thru experience myself (back in '71) that one does not want to make a mistake at this point.
Anyways,
Happy Holidays and I hope to hear from you!
