I'm looking for a good backup portable, what do you guys think is best? I already have a truck mount but scared it might go down while on my jobs. |

John;
Michaels answer makes a lot of sense really. The word: "Portable" covers a very wide array of different configerations of machines that rest on 4-"wheels".
The very best in your search;
Merry Christmas too;

Backup portys have 2 wheels. You pull them back while your
backing up. Many many to choose from!

Best Back-up Portable?
Get this Mytee M-5 over at World of Clean:
Hard to go wrong when you can pick up a quality machine like this for only $1675.00
Did I mention that it comes with autofill and autodump with that price?

If you live in the USA, you have way more options to choose from because of the huge variety of machines sold there. Then you just have to decide if you want the economy machine that sucks and squirts with 2 vacs and a pump for under $1500. Lots of choice there. Or do you want the most powerful machine on the market, bar none? If that is your goal there is only 1 choice. You need a Titan, with the 4 vac motors, 800 psi pump, autofill and dump. Only machine that has the power of a 36 blowered TM that you plug in.
