All work better with SuperLip glides on them.

I used the rotovac on my poprtable untill I got my TM.  I called Rotovac to ask them if I should do anything different. 

They told me to run the pressure at 200psi.  I don't have any problems with overwetting.  I also have an rx20.  With cut pile carpet I like the rotovac better.

For long pile carpet its a wand all the way.

CCT, UFT, OCT, CRT, RRT, WRT, SMT, FSRT, JTC, JSR, JWR, MTC a great life, if you don't weaken.

I agree with Cmasters comments here. But that is what the Roto glides are for. They allow that machine to get the carpet dry to the touch in an hour or less.

MCCC,

I have a rotovac. Don't use it much. Personally, I think it does a great job on heavily soiled deeper pile carpeting, but does leave it a little too wet.
