any of you still do the old school bonnet as a preventive maintenance (monthly) you know, the one with the green strip on it?

if you do then what solution do you use in your shampoo tank?

thank you

Ive used them before, Im personally not a big fan. They just dont absorb enough of the cleaner for my style. They also do not catch as much dirt as the loop twist thick cotton bonnets. I do use the green strip bonnets on berber carpet to apply more even weight. Anyways.......

I personally like ZOOM or IMPACT in my solution tanks

We use mostly cotton terry cloth pads but still use the old bonnets for agitation on the trashed calls and then follow up with cotton pads.

Nope.

But I don't see the sense in trying to break down caked dirt with a cotton pad that has a limited lifespan.

Willy- that was an excellent point that never really occured to me.
