Mailing flyer to NEW Customers

So you get very little or no responce to mailouts to potential new customers. You just get repeats from previous customers who are just waiting for you to offer them a special. I found that to be the case years back with mailouts to existing customers. Now I just send them a reminder with no discount and get the same responce. I think specials should be for new customers only?

I get referals even without a program...I had a $20 referal program...no one ever asks for the 20 bucks...they just give you the referal.

or maybe a pet spa get away....

or 1 free golf lession...

for the ladies a free scrapbooking class...

I was going to call it family appreciation days

LOL...Customers use those as bargining tools to get it cheaper...LOL

I charge my price with taxes in..... because I couldn't handle the bickering over paying taxes...

Now I advertise NO TAX...

I have 2 truckmounts..1 portable and a cimex...I'm bigger than most in the GTA...LOL

If you want to create lots of business Steamer, use this special. It was my most successful way to generate business before I moved up to the high end market back in 2000.

Offer 1 room cleaned FREE with every 4 rooms cleaned at your regular price. You move the pricing up 25% on all your rooms to pay for it and so lose nothing on your bottom line per room.But the huge increase in the jobs you get offering this means you make alot more money. It also stops the customers that might call you to clean only 2 rooms, cause now they will order 4 rooms to get the free room as well.

Here is an example how this works:

Before:

5 rooms @$20/rm = $100.00.......not much volume

After:

4 rooms @ $25/rm = $100.00
1 room FREE
Total.............$100.00........Lots more jobs

Your referrals go way up because everyone wants to tell their friends about the great deal they got from you. You advertise way less because of that, so your net income per $100 of business done increases.This method more than TRIPLED my business in one year(1999) from the year before. It will work even in the GTA.
