We finally settled on the van and equipment. Three year old "near new" 2500 GMC Savana with duel open doors on both sides. New prochem TM with all the goodies. 250' of hoses and water softener kit. Van is waiting on the unit to arrive and we are setting up the van wrap now. Going to be a nice setup for a little under 30k. I'll post pics as soon as its done.

I personally don't think a 2500 is heavy enough if you are carring water? It is definately not heavy enough for an Everest.

It better work. We bought it two weeks ago and dropped it off at the TM dealer. Picking it up in a couple of days. The unit we bought and the size of tanks should be fine.

The van is rated for 2100+ lbs payload. Might not take turns at 60 but I havent seen a problem with them in the past. We were buying a 3500 but the 2500 we found had better options and was in new condition.

It's nice to get the buying process over with. It took us a while to settle on home much we wanted to spend. We almost bought the 2008 van with a 20k CDS unit. But payments were way over 1k a month. So we jumped down a couple years on the van and went with a 15k TM.
Got an updated today, we were told the equipment should be in by tomorrow or Thursday.

my brother didn't listen either...he got a 2500 with his new cleanco.... do you believe his brakes went already...broke the caliper and cracked the disc...
the parts in a 2500 are too light for everyday hard work.. now my 3500 I looked at the brakes....still going strong... and he's had his van only for the last 6 months...bahahahahahahahahahahahahaha I'm waiting to hear about the suspension next Edited by MR. STEAMER - 05/December/2007 at 11:27pm |
