Hello..
Any of you Up in Canada or in the USA ever have your TM 1/2 frozen when arriving at a job..? OMG..!!!!!

Well it happened to me last Saturday morning.. It was -13f when leaving home at 7am.. And my thermometer said 55f in the Van.. Took a 49 mile cruise for a whole house job.. The windchill was a killer.. Arriving at the job the thermometer said 30.. Anyways what happen next was scarier than a fat lady undressing..Ahhhh!!

Started up the TM and the psi gauge goes up to 3000psi.. OH $Hit.. Its a Cat-2000psi.. So i shut it down and the water in and out are froze up.. Could not disconnect the solution line at the machine frozeup.. Popped off the water in and the male connect nipple didnt pop back out froze inside..

Plugged in my 2 heaters and set them right next to the water in and out ports and waited 30 minutes.. The psi gauge is slowly going down to 0.. When it reaches 0 i start it up and let it warm up for about 15 minutes..

All hoses are already at the farthest point.. Pop in the water hose and solution using hot water from the laundry faucet and crank'er up.. Start wanding and its pi$$ing at 500psi.. OH man.. The pump is damaged.. A few minutes later pressure comes out like 500psi..

I checked around the pump and all the plumbing and NO leaks while its running.. Everything works good.. pressure.. high heat.. etc..

Conclusion: Was this hassle worth going a total of 100 miles just to get $175..?
NO..!! Not for me anyways.. It could have costed me 1000's..

How can this be prevented when its sooooo cold..? Stay home right..?
