Maybe you should start selling your marketing program, but first you'll need to grow a pony tail

it all starts here...
a customer wrote today...
To Whom it may concern, I am just writing to say what an excellent and professional job Earl did today at our place Waterdown. He was very polite and took the time to do a complete job. Thank you very much and we would recommend your services to others. This is the first time I've ever taken the time to do this but I felt Earl went above and beyond. Thanks again, Chris and Tracy
See I will get the repeat next year....and I will get referrals.
Advertise show up and do the best damn job that you can!

Wouldn't think of it. We all learn more from the things that go wrong than from that which worked the first time. And no doubt learning by doing has a greater impact than relying on someone as an answer man.
Would you rather be the man who reads about history, writes about history or makes history? Joe's customers read, he writes while others actually give him something to write about. You may very well turn into one that he writes about, who knows? Good luck Benjamin. |

Joe did the homework that it takes, put it into the context of carpet cleaning business owners and presented it in a way that is easy to understand and easier to impliment. We should appreciate his efforts instead of talking poorly about his outstanding efforts. Instead of paying him 1500 I am doing the research and homework myself, it's not easy and it would be much easier to pay 1500 to get it all set up for me, but this is my choice, dont patronize or critisize people for making things easier on themselves.

Yep, all Polish did was take what was already out there and repackage it.
How does the old saying go, You can't reinvent the wheel? |

Building a solid business and building a solid foundation for wealth are miles apart . If you have a successful business making money and allowing you to extrapolate an income from it is all fine, but if the balance of the money that sits in a business account just sits there then you're on the road to nowhere.................Money has to be your best employee, doubling and tripling itself by ways of investment and venture .
Building wealth is a game of chance, wits, timming and aggression.
Remember all businesses usually all fail eventually............there are not alot of businesses out there that are 60 to 100 years old.

There are too many businesses that offer piss poor service.
I can honestly tell you alot of my customers call me because they know that I'm going to be there on time...and super friendly...
The girls thats answer my phones are super sweet...and return calls right away if they are on the line...
it's not always about the cleaning... it's the total package.
I think I have never said this before, and won't say it again. It's IMPORTANT to take Visa and M/C and have the symbols on every communication piece you put out. It sepreates you from the joe blows.. it shows you are not a fly by nighter..
It takes good credit to be a merchant, and customers respect that.
thats another free tip Edited by MR. STEAMER - 14/July/2008 at 4:37pm |

and worth every dime of it. I agree with steamer. Did I just say that?
Steamer is right. Treat this like any other business. The old saying "build a better mousetrap and the world will beat a path to your door" has never been true. Spend money advertising and don't blow what it brings you or you can find a lucrative career at home depot. |
