I am needing a portable to get into high rises. I have found that the eclipse portable has the highest vac lift. Does anyone have any feedback on this machine? Or maybe some advice on the best portable out there. Thanks
Travis

I have an eclipse and it does a good job. The only thing is that it has a lot of pump issues. If you like a machine that you have to replace the pump every 3 to 6 months then this is the machine for you !!! The lift is OK but not even close to what they say it is. It might be close if you plug into 2 seperate 20 amp outlets, but if you dont you lose power. I have been in the business for many years and have never had so much darn trouble out of a porty like this one. When it works it is OK !!

I have since heard worse stories about the machine and cleancrafts customer service. I definately won't be buying this machine. I might however buy the olympus 500H. Thanks for your input!!

I bought their give-away spotter.  And I am on their board as an ICCA member.
Are you in a high paying business or are you just a self employed low paid grunt who thinks this business provides dignity?

Well, i sure am happy i found this forum.

I was gettin ready to buy an eclipse in the next few weeks.  They say 249 inch of waterlift, that is pretty powerful!!
But i'll take your words for it.
