Hi; I'm new to the site and I have a few questions;
I saw a guy running a portable from his van like a truck mount with hoses is this possible? and if so how could I do the same? I own a mytee m-12
what kind of extra gear would I need?
how much hose can I run with a booster
should I use the variable psi 50-1200 or the 250 psi with the inline heater would be enough?
can I use the variable psi to take advantage of the pump out and refiil?
what kind of generator can I use ?
please Help

the M-12 has 2 2stage vacs,,,,,,,,,,I wouldn't recommend it
I have the M-5 with 2 3stage vacs.........I won't do it either
anything could be done I guess,,,,,,,,,,I just don't like pretending to have a TM when all I have is a Porty
but I do leave it outside the front door quite often to cut down on the noise.

Its just someone pretending to have a truckmount, or is just lazy. You might be able to get away with 50feet of hose on the high side, depending on the vac power of the portable. I would not recommended it though. Plus in most cases you need 100feet of hose to do most homes.

also with all those extra expenses you wanna buy to make it work, you might have enough for a used truckmount anyway. With the market as slow as it is you can get some pretty good deals on used equipment and once you go trucmounted you never go back. Its way easier than dealing with the portables.
