I am wondering if there are others out there who enjoy there carpet/fabric/tile cleaning business and wonder what other services to add to compliment the business?
What say you all? power washing homes? cleaning homes? painting? etc. etc.

You can do anything else you know how to do.....If you know how to fix and pull teeth, do that.....if you can do plumbing, offer that. When I used to do residential, I power washed many homes, driveways, decks, brick, alum......I renovated basements, bathrooms, installed and removed carpet, wallpaper, paint, whatever I was able to do.....I did it.
I even had sex with a 92 year old .....oooops I mean 29 year old

I have often thougt that I am missing a huge potential by being a trusted source inside my clients home and only offering the basic things such as fabric cleaning, tile, carpet etc.. I am thinking of doing a spin-off business of a "handyman" type of thing.. just odds and ends nothing big... |

Appartment buildings are always looking for a handy-man, you get free rent, plus pay, and if you do carpet cleaning you can get the contract for all the hallways, plus when people move as well as tennants who just want to spruce up their place. You can get painting jobs, window cleaning.....the possibilities are endless.

Why not just clean more carpets? More profit in that than some of the alternatives mentioned on this board.
