I have been cleaning carpets rather successfully for 3 years, and am moving into the next step of my business plan, which is water damage restoration.  The thing is I have little experience except for a few small water suck ups and the IICRC classes I have taken.

I have contacted around 250 businesses by mail and email that are not competitors in my area and also contacted major leaders in the industry, with hopes to volunteer with a business for a short time to better learn the trade first hand.

Unfortunately I have been unsuccessful in finding anyone who would allow me to shadow their business.

I live outside Philadelphia, if your business is located in southern New York, western PA, Southern NJ, Northern Maryland and can take on an apprentice for a short time please let me know.  I would be grateful for your help.
