Looking for accounting/operations software.  What are some different options out there and what do you like?

For bookkeeping I like quickbooks.  For pricing I like CarpetCalc which I got a few years ago off Ebay (steve@colebrothers.com is his email).  For tracking clients ACT is my preference.  My portable office setup includes laptop, credit card reader, scanner, portable printer and my blackberry.  I am a one truck operation.

Sorry, but I can not answer your question, because there is no good or bad solution, but it depends on your configuration.

You can refer yourself to any comparative sites:

Free of charge www.software-evaluation.co.uk
Free of charge www.software-comparison.net
Paid www.gartner.com

Good luck!
