I rented one and tried it a couple of years ago, when I was having TM repairs done. I wasn't very impressed. I ended up going back and doing HWE to make the carpet look good and get all that sponge crap out. I'm sure an experienced Host user could do better with it, but I will not be getting that experience.

Go to YouTube.Com and you can see videos of it being used by the "experienced" users referred to by CCandMore. Decide for yourself after seeing the videos.

Are you in a high paying business or are you just a self employed low paid grunt who thinks this business provides dignity?

No experience but have only heard negative stuff. I guess you have to use it on sisal. I would enjoy hearing from a person who has actually used one.

Martha Stewart was able to use the retail version of the compound itself on what I understand is sisal and she was satisfied. I would check with the CRI to see what carpets they recommend it be used on.

I actually didn't have any experience using it, but you may visit the link below for some guides and tips on how to use it properly.

The Host Dry Carpet Cleaning System is a low-moisture cleaning method
that leaves carpets clean and dry immediately after use. It is safe and
easy to use with no chemicals to mix. The Host system starts with the
Host dry carpet cleaner, an all-natural product containing a balanced
blend of moisture, detergent and a small amount of safe-to-use
solvents. Host is designed to dissolve, absorb and trap greasy, oily
dirt, spots and odors.
