This is always a tough question to answer. Can not say who to avoid , only what to look for.
1. A company that has been in business for several years
2. Ask them for referrals
3. Check for certifications
4. Ask other associates for referrals for a company that has done work for them
5. Call the Floorcovering Institute of Ontario for names of companies that service your
area { 905 822 2280}

10 years ago I would have told you to stay away from Japanese cars and buy American.....see how wrong I would have been.
Best way I suppose is to ask for 5 most recent refferals ..... also if he shows up wearing dirty smelly running shoes , a baseball cap, a sweaty t-shirt and not well groomed.....that`s pretty much what your carpet is going to look like once he`s finished.

Also, if your cleaner looks like this guy,you might want to keep on looking. It is a pretty sure bet he does not get much wand time.
