Don't say where you are. Insurance rates are different all over USA and Canada.
Our Vans and liability runs around $1200.00 a month

$2000/year opposed to $1200/month? Sounds like someone's getting the shaft |

Some of us are properly insured and others run on the bare minimum.
We have clients that demand we carry 10 million liability coverage etc. etc

2 mill. liability on business and the van for a total of $1,800 a year. That's of course depending on how much I make a year. (on paper)

What exactly do I need as far as insurance goes to start a carpet cleaning business? If someone could break this down I would greatly appreciate it. |

Every state or provience is different you need to talk to an insurance broker to find out exactly what you need and alot may depend on how long in biz what equipemnt you have and what amount of coverage is neccessary. and what percentage is residential commerical or even restoration play a big part on premiums.
