Hey I'm looking to expand my business...what is the best way to approach apartment complexs to do move in/out cleaning?  Do I charge by the room or the sq. ft?  How much?  Thanks any advice would be great...

mjc@A+

You are taking on an amount of work that is always more than you can handle at the end and middle of the month.  The remainder of your days are generally slow.

Most of the property managers in low to medium income levels take the lowest bidder and these move outs are generally trashed.  Know what you are getting into.

Gully where you at that you can get .30 cents a square foot for an apartment. The highest price I've seen anyone get in my area is .20 cents. Asking how much to charge in a forum like this is not going to help as what you can charge in on area is greatly different than what you can charge in another.
