I know a guy that is selling one,it has about 2000 hrs,it started up,it has been sitting unused for quite a while.
Are they any good and if so are there parts in them that can go bad from sitting with out being used.

How long was it sitting..? If he didn't lubricate the engine cylinders walls and blower lobes rust will build up in them and might have caused scratches when you started it up.. Now you will have blowby..
