French was introduced to school in Ontario when I was in grade eight and grade eight is when I dropped the language. They have it smart these days starting them young. The majority of the students drop French in Grade 11 when they are not forced to take it. What does this say to a wasted French curriculum. I only know one language...bad english...with a southern draw...I get mixed up when people spell mators with a "t"...and taters with a "p"...however, I should try to learn spanish...we have so many people comming into our area that only speak spanish...most of the time I have to get one of their children to be an interepreter for me... ------------- 25 years of cleaning carpet and my back hurts |
