What is the best way to remove a mildew smell from the carpet. Useing household products? The radiator leaked on the carpet and the living room smeels like mildew. I do not have time to go to a supply house. Any sugestion? Thanks ------------- WWW.PREFERREDCARPETCLEANING.COM |

You have to get the carpet dry first. That is the odour. ------------- Just My opinion |

I cleaned the carpets, and then I pulled up the carpets the foam padding was wet so I removed it, under the padding the plywood was soaked. I dried the carpets and put baking soda all over the carpet. Then I just left the plywood exposed with fans blowing on it overnight. ------------- WWW.PREFERREDCARPETCLEANING.COM |
