How do I clean a mechanical shop ceiling & walls  in a automotive centre!!
The walls & ceiling are both powder coated metal.
the last time we cleaned this building we did it with rags & spray 9.(Never Again).
It took too long, as the ceiling is 16' HIGH.
Is there any way I can power wash this building with my truckmount & not get the floor  & every thing else wet???

If you think of the shop as a car (metal with a coating of paint), you might be able to get it cleaned by:

1.  Starting with the ceiling, work your way down
2.  Use a Pressure Washer (Wally World has cheap ones) to get the targeted surface wet
3.  Apply a liquid car wash detergent  much as you would do when doing a carpet pre-spray
4.  Give the pre-spray 5 minutes to do its work
5.  Watch the pressure and your distance, using the pressure washer to blast and rinse the surface.
6.  I would at use a sqweegy <sp> on the walls and floors at the very least then vacuum the shop floor with a wet dry vac.

Of course, that is just me and nothing to do with the best way for you.

sub it out to servicemaster.
spray 9 is way too strong to be breathing all day.

I see this is really an old post, but if anyone else has the same problem, I would go out and rent a hot water pressure washer and use a mild degreaser for a soap. My truck mount heat excanger can't keep up with a powerwasher wand on it and it lacks the pressure and flow that really save you time. I have a 4000psi 4gpm hot pressurewasher and I am very happy with what can be removed with little or no soap.
