I used to, but only if there was two guys on a truck. It would also depend on the building. Portables were usually just as fast without the chance  of problems.Big smile Had a pressure line let go once when I was cleaning solo, not good.

I go up to 13 floors with a tm, off the balcony, or in stairwell, any else, op or porty.

Yes, it could be an issue if someone got hurt, we try our best to put caution tape up across each access point entering the stairwell, and secure the hoses every 5 floors or at each connection point.  Lately we have been having good luck with OP`ing apartments, the supers love it, especially on quick turnovers or transfers within the building. and no setup..

thats is not what I'm asking.....I'm know that most of us who run TM's don't want to use portable...I also know you can run the hose if needed...

I just wondering ...I was just wondering if most TM guys carry a portable on board to use on official portable calls...???

or maybe like Mr. Steamer you just don't book them???

Doug; with your market area being mostly residential ie: no highrise cleaning, and your big 405's, portables would really serve no purpose. I bet you could count on one hand the number of times a year you would use them.
