talzee;

Here is the way I see it:

Your BUSINESS (service) is:  Professional Carpet Cleaning

Your JOB is:                          Cleaning Carpets

Running a business involves common sense and sometimes unique marketing / advertising; while being the most efficient and economical on the job.

That's it in a nutshell.

Good Fortune;

I guess what I am getting at is to stop looking at this industry as a job. If you didn't work tomorrow would you still get paid???...Could you sell your operation without you...That's ok for people who enjoy that route but after 20-25 years in business, what do you have to show. Don't fool yourself that in you are in business when really you are just self-employed. Paramount differences!!

You Must be totally innondated with a mountain of Bullsh*t paperwork from the Gov.payroll, wsib, and all the other crap. then cleaning a carpet is a joy, not a job.
