A franchise does not come with common sence? If you don't have any now investing all that money will not help?

Its a carpet cleaning business. Do it your self. You will have to go out and get your own cutomers anyway. Why pay Chem dry for it. Plus you have to use all of their stuff. They are a rip off. Do it your self.

For someone like myself who has never worked for a carpet cleaning business would it be difficult to learn the in and out's. Also do you need a special license in order to clean carpets?

Posted By: cmaster
Date Posted: 20/January/2007 at 12:42am
No licence that I'm aware of. Check with your local authorities. You should probably take a carpet cleaning course. Ask your local supplier to recommend one.

So basically I should contact a carpet cleaning business in the area and ask them if and where they give classes.
