If anyone has a good used truckmount for not more than $ 15,000..........or................any good not abused used portables and other kinds of equipment.
I am also looking for vacuum blowers, pumps, H.P hose, Vac hose, used Cimex, Rx 20.........whatever you have and I want it, I will buy it.
Please don't think your all out fishing and thinking I'm a big fish to sell me your junk.
Don't tell me to look at what Ted has, I already spoke to him and the things I want we already discussed .
I will either pay the shipping or I will pick up.
I will be in Toronto in the next few weeks, Ottawa & Cornwall this week-end , Alberta & Vancouver B.C next month I can stop anywhere in between
All American posters, I will be in Connecticut , boston , New York in 2 weeks

I'm learning that real quick..............but if I have to that's what I will buy . I'm having my truck rebuilt so at least I'll have 1 good truck for commercial.
I'm getting more into the maintenance contract side of things, I only have 2 contracts at the moment starting in 1 month but perhaps residential cleaning can pick up the slack downtime

That's easy to say when it's not your money, I set a certain amount aside according to the 2 contracts I have and budget wise I cannot go over $ 15,000 for a truckmount .
If business is good then next year perhaps I buy something new on a lease .
When did Cleanco stop making the classic .

I still have my restaurant , and alot of other goodies, carpet cleaning has always been good to me and maintenence contracts even better . I won't be doing the actual work . Money is money , as long as it's legal..............it's good

bryan I am still trying to figure things out. I am waiting to see what Butler is coming up with this week. I am leaning heavily to the ACE unit out of Las Vegas with the John Deere diesel. I am going to have some pictures of a similar unit this week.

PileDiver I can only spend what I have allocated my budget to be, I know it on a shoe-string but I don't have the contracts to dictate a different financial scenario . I do not bullsh*t like many others and boast about being rich and buying expensive equipment they can never afford and only dream about.
I have set aside a certain amount start-up and can afford very little right now to get started in order to show a profit for my efforts during the first year.
Hammy, I never play Penny Stocks, just wanted some input as to if I should. Thanks for the heads up.

I think if you spend that little you are going to buy some problems that will stop you from performing on your contracts. A high hour unit with a new operator that runs the machine differently than the past operator and also doesn't know its kinks spells downtime.

PileDiver & Steamer ..........you both make very good solid intellegent points, and I'm a little embarassed demonstrating my dumb side on this issue. Perhaps I should re-think my position before I make a big mistake by not listening to both of you. Thanks
It's almost 2:00 in the morning, just came back from the restaurant..........we were getting the kitchen hoods cleaned and the 3 guys that came to do the job were all arrested , and the job not finished.
They were smoking up in the back parking lot near a pool hall/bar called Le Scratch and when the cops smelled it they decided to check out their van and found bags of that crap, counterfeit money , and false Id's . They towed the truck away, plus another car and I'm stuck with dirty hoods.

I find it funny everyone saying you will not find a decent truck mount
for 15k, My first TM was a BUTLER and it was a older unit yes.. But it
served me for 4 year with no mechanical problems whats so ever and I
got it for 5k with the truck. Yes its old. But it sure the hell beats a
porty and we all know this. So mch dwelling on soemthing that has been
clearly gone over. HE HAS A BUDGET AND FOR THAT BUDGET i'm sure he will
get a tm. Period. It does not take 90k to get a machine like everyone
makes it sound. Find something with a good rep and good support

Amen Brother..... I love butlers! I will def own another one. 98 or newer though I perfer. I would not mind a vortex either, But I would def buy a butler for half the price and use the other half for marketing before I would buy a V. But I have only been in business for 6 years. Mabye if I was booked solid with a helper and 2 wands running at one time. Then a V would come in handy. Anyways... Happy 4-20 any stoners out there. ;)

Just got hold of an old Butler................worked well for about a week, did a great job on the carpet, the Butler was even good cleaning ceramic and marble tiles..................until one day the Butler just didn't want to work any longer and ran away with my Maid
Bet you all thouight it was the Butler System, come on you know you did.
