Subject: Carpet samples in Rain

Hello, I am currently working on an art project which involved carpet samples being placed outside for about a week. The samples aren't going to be glued down or anything. I was just wondering that in the event of Rain, will the samples be ok? I can't have them curling up or starting to smell or anything... Will they be able to dry out alright? thanks for any help. |

If they were carpet samples from a store they were probably nylon backed. Jute backing looks like twine and natural and not very many are made that way.
