Alot depends on the condition of the carpet and the type is it commerical cut pile what?? How solied is it? Check the seams before you start check the condition of the carpet is it already becoming delaminated etc. Pre inspection on this job is very important to clarify and justify your results and to document any prexisting conditions that could lead to further deteroriation. Other than that I would just clean it the same as any other after I have determined weather it will take what I am going to inflict on it? I guess the experts will probably be able to explain what to do much better than I.

I'll take your advise under consideration and see what others have to say on the matter, but i think I'll only get jokes and dumb answers. You're the only guy here that is serious and knows his stuff. Nightrider please don't answer if you have nothing smart to say regarding my problem. Thanks again Doug
