Should I stick with my floor shampooer (rotary),or should I go with a hydroforce on 300psi pump , and scrub with by brush by hand.Which do you think is faster??? I have never used a hydroforce sprayer that is why I'm asking.

The hydroforce will apply your pre-spray quickly but does not give much agitation compared to a rotary. Go with both and have the best of both worlds

a hydro force is an in line sprayer used to put down pre-sprays etc.
A rotary machine is usually a device to agitate the carpet if it is a rotary extractor it also does the cleaning and rinsing. Like the rx-20 or the rotovac's and rotovac 360 .

The two are used for separate functions like Doug said there is no comparison.

Did we miss something ???

I have a rotary floor shampooer not a rx-20!it's a old school machine that injects the shampoo while scrubing. It seems to take awhile though, but the results are great.

I see, you are using a rotary scrubber with the tank on it. got cha, If you are trying to maintain a fairly dry result maybe the tank would apply less solution? not sure. you got me there. anyone know ?
