I was wondering what everyone's experience have been with your local "Chamber of Commerce"?   Is it worth it?

In my area with a city of about 200K plus surrounding 'burbs. Membership is  $300/year! They boast 300,000 unique visits a month on thier website and 3,000 calls a month from cusomers! I looked up Carpet Cleaning and thier is only one, in a town about 1 hour away. What do yall think?

Great place to get your benefit package better prices than you get on your own. Like so many organizations you get what you put into it, great place to network.

You create your own by attending functions, take plenty business cards hand yours out and collect them from other members, go back to your office and fire off a letter to follow up, you never know. You can also offer a special discount to other Chamber members. Every bit helps to market your services
