I was wondering what everyone's experience have been with your local "Chamber of Commerce"? Is it worth it?
In my area with a city of about 200K plus surrounding 'burbs. Membership is $300/year! They boast 300,000 unique visits a month on thier website and 3,000 calls a month from cusomers! I looked up Carpet Cleaning and thier is only one, in a town about 1 hour away. What do yall think?

I am an orignal member of our chamber in it since it began. Lots of get togethers there are other benifits just as them for a membership brocher ------------- Just My opinion |

My local chamber just screwed me over big time. I never did get much biz from being a member -------------

You create your own by attending functions, take plenty business cards hand yours out and collect them from other members, go back to your office and fire off a letter to follow up, you never know.
