Any suggestions to remove browning spots after a carpet has been water damaged?
If you could supply a product name & a place to purchase I would appreciate it.
Also what kind of cleaners, deoderiseres, etc. is everyone out there using?

I'm just getting into this aspect of the business.

How do you know that it is browning? Maybe just wicking.
Browning occurs from jute backing, not much out there anymore.

Don't know that it's definately browning.
It's a commercial carpet with latex backing.

Definitely wicking. To eliminate the wicking you can reclean and speed dry with air movers. However, if it is water damaged, replacement may be your best solution depending on the circumstancesOuch

I appreciate the help.
I learned from a hack so I have to re learn the right way.
He also taught me how to install carpet. Now I re learned that & I have a thriving business.
How about the brand of cleaners, deoderizors, etc. you use?

Find a good local supplier and see what he recommends. Asking a question like that on a board will get you several different answersBig%20smile
