just wandering what most of you portable users out are working out of. i have been looking for a good used van without much luck. I have thought about purchasing s 6x10 enclosed trailer and pulling it with my honda ridgeline pickup. any recommendation or feedback on either, and since most carpet cleaners work out of vans, would I still be percieved as professional pulling a trailer.

I would recommend that you contact Ed Coon (KY) who has a terrific set up using a trailer. He can share alot of his ideas and the pro's & Con's.
He has a beautiful set up! I'm sure it would be a very worthwhile call!!!

Really depends on what your work is. Van is the best of course but in some situations a trailer would be a great option as far as cost goes.
As long as your not doing condo's and apartments then a trailer is ok but if you are going after those accounts, then a trailer really will not work at all.

I've seen some trailer set-ups that look very good. I've never thought any less of anyone who chooses to use a trailer. I think they look just as professional as a van, as long as you decal it up. (just my thoughts) |

The nice thing about them is the flexibility you get with being able use your vehicle like a family vehicle and just leave the trailer at home. One vehicle, two uses.

Only issue I can think of is getting in a tight turn spot in a trailer. Not hard to do but I would think it would not be worth the effort. ------------- -Refined Carpet Cleaning |

On short drive-ways, pull curb-side, pull an extra 50ft of hose, and crank ur pressure down a bit, problem solved. |
