I was wondering if there is anyone using the tykote system for hard wood floor re-finishing? I am considering branching off into this business, and would love to hear from anyone doing it now.

I do something similar using a floor machine for Step 1. We don't do it very often, but we don't put much into promoting it. It works well and is much cheaper than completely refinishing a floor. It just needs to be a basic polyurethane-coated wood. There are a lot of laminates and differently prepped woods out there, and you need to know what's what in order to do the work.
