Please understand that when I post a comment, it's more to rattle your cages and get a discussion and your input jump started. I don't mean to be condescending towards anyone on this forum, but one must admit that in my posts there is always at least 75% TRUTH in my comments.

Every few months a new cc company starts up here. Of course most don't last, but they turn enough people off carpet cleaning before they shut down.

I'm a business owner who runs a service company. We do not have the
shady type activity with carpet cleaners that some areas have. The
lowballers except for one have gone by the wayside. luckily most people
you run into have had a reasonable experience with there last cleaner.
I don't hear a lot of horror stories in our area , Which is a good thing!!

It's a stereotypical thing.

You have to admit that many people have had bad experiences with CCers. So paint them all with the same brush.

My repeat and referral clients don't treat me like scum, but people who don't know me sometimes talk down to me just because of what I do for a living. It's not necessarily how you present yourself although if you act unprofessional, you will be judged that way.

I have several hundred repeat residential customer over a 23 year period.
I do not sense the feelings of disrespect you talk about.

Nightrider "Carpet cleaning is a business that nobody respects, you're
looked down upon, considered unprofessional, uneducated, low life,
hustlers, money grabbers, thiefs,beggers, scammers & scum...........Now
go & have a nice day "

What do people get as a first impression of you personally ?? If the above
is their first impression. That tells you something. and a majority of the
above impressions can be altered by how we present ourselves. IMHO

This is one of the best nights. I'm right two times and Nightrider is wrong.

I think I have run this subject into the ground. I'll stop now.

Yeah, You're probably right.......I'm also a telemarketer, how low can one get, bothering all those nice people while they are having supper, tripping over themselves to get to the phone only to find me on the other end
