Good idea. I do the same. Works for me

I guess I'm wrong then, 2 against 1, I suppose what works for you is the best way to go, I just want to know what happened to Mr. Steamers method....." Sorry Mam " Before I start cleaning I just want to tell you that these stains won't come out, I'll try but, you waited too long to call me. No chemical, No soap, No speciality products, No stain removal, No callback, and he still got paid. I like that system, cuts cost down quite a bit.

Ya, right until she hears from her neighbor that so and so got every spot
out , " he was just fantastic. " who do you think they call next time.!

Saving on buying chemicals sometimes is costing your business money.
( In lost Customers) IMHO

I too do not like buying 523 different chemicals. But I do know you need
one chemical that works for each circumstance you run into. That for me
is 1 pre-spray and a hand full of specialty spotters.

The chances of a residential customer calling you back the following year is next to none anyway, for several reasons, They Move........They forget who you are.......They only clean every 2 or 3 years.........They rent a machine and do it themselves......they are the worst customers to have.......they are not loyal to you even if you would buy them a new carpet.......That's why I don't touch residential unless I need fast cash in any given month. Don't try to build an Empire, cause you're fighting a loosing battle............have you ever seen a rich person who made millions in the carpet cleaning business......................

No, but I have seen many poor ones.

The real money is in marketing the selling of carpet cleaning to those that THINK they are going to make millions in the carpet cleaning business.

This is one of the best nights. I'm right two times and Nightrider is wrong.

I think I have run this subject into the ground. I'll stop now.

I have several hundred repeat residential customer over a 23 year period.
I do not sense the feelings of disrespect you talk about.

Nightrider "Carpet cleaning is a business that nobody respects, you're

hustlers, money grabbers, thiefs,beggers, scammers & scum...........Now

What do people get as a first impression of you personally ?? If the above
is their first impression. That tells you something. and a majority of the
above impressions can be altered by how we present ourselves. IMHO
