all joking aside... to cut down on price shoppers... they won't call looking for the price when it's printed right in the ad. If the price is on the ad they just be calling to book. They will also use my ad as a price point and call everyone else. No one has any pricing on their ad, I think this move is to my advantage.
The lowest price thing is funny, but man I need some serious ideas. Lets forget all the joking around and tell me what you really think.
other than design what will help you stand out???
I put on a whole house package 5 Rooms/Hall/Steps for $140
sofa/loveseat/chair for $140
Area Rug at $1.50 per sq ft
Tile & Grout cleaning Starting at $1.50 per sq ft

Guys in the London area have tried that approach. I haven't seen them continue it for more than three years. They were also the $99 whole house guys.

I would never advertise prices in yp. You have to stick to them for a year. What if your costs increase?

I think with a good post card campaign and a good yellow page ad is a good combo, I'm not sure about the price. It could work though!
