thermedix, People love hi-tech stuff, they are very inexpensive sales tools that keep on working...are always on the job...don't ask for raises...and don't get pregnant in the busy season. |

I don`t use demo approach any more, I carry a laptop on sales calls that has before and after pics on it, they love it...and you can usually sneak one of their competetion in there, they love to keep up with comp.
BNI has worked very well for me as well!

Commercial jobs come in a lot more the more people you know! Network, Network, Network. Network by trade associations (ie Chambers), Network existing commercial clients, and most importantly network with all your residential clients (most of them work some where, go somewhere, were they can refer you!).
Biggest thing with commercial is deal directly with decision maker! |

Network: Join a business association,chamber of commerce. It will take you time to build a relationship,but it will introduce you to the right people to sell yourself.Don't waste your time talking to people on the bottom of the ladder.Go Big Or Go Home!
