If you had an excellent pre-spray and fantastic emulsifier what would you do in this situation if you could ONLY do one.?
Scrub in the pre-spray or Post pad after extraction to aid in soil removal and dry time. OK remember you can only do one… Pre pad Or Post Pad |

If I get to extract using an RX-20, then I'd post-pad, no question. If I were wanding, I'd probably lean toward the prescrub.

Same answer as Michael. Prescrub if you don't use an RX20 with glides; and post pad if you do.

Spray from rear to entry, then set up the buffer, and scrub from rear to entry. You'll get at least a few minutes of dwell time that way before scrubbing, and then by the time your wand is in hand and ready to go, it's gotten a bit more dwell time.

Dwell, then scrub. The Dwell time is what is most important. On most carpet the prescrub is not needed as the RX does this for you.

Well in my case there is no need to post pad to speed drying cause the Power-Dri system I use with my RX drys the carpet in under 1 minute. Follow Lee's advice if you don't have this.

these are the carpets that should probably be ripped out
but on the average job,go ahead and rub your pads,,,lucky if they're grey afterwords
waste of time most of the time
and the rednecks around here aren't willing to pay extra for extra steps so why bother
people round here seem to want you in and out a.s.a.p.
