Listen nothing is for free. Have confidence. You own a service they must pay you for it. You are providing them with GOOD Work! They want to pay you. I would rinse it for her at half the price you first charges her, but let her know that this is what you charge for a rinse. She is calling you back be cause "SHE" put all of the foamy soap in the rugs not you. When I do Flood restoration We charge for every little thing. you want the stuff moved $50 per room you want block under the furniture $35 per room. Dump charfe $275. Nothing is for free it makes you look like a fly by night. It will also make you look as if you did something wrong.

I would tack on some extras to mom and sister. Just add some scotch guard or something.

Hey Steamer, I would just go back and reclean it for her for free (even though it sux lol) just to keep her happy...You got 2 jobs out of it anywaysUpper.

Also, I think by metering in the defoamer...It leaves a dirt attracting residue behind. Maybe you shouldve Sprinkle on the Powdered Defoamer and rinsed with a acid rinse to take care of the sticky residue.
I'll make you TAP OUT!!!

Had the same situation on Monday, As soon as I encountered the soap I made sure that they know that THEY have a possible issue. and that it may not be correctible in one cleaning. I said" Normally any call backs concerning our workmanship we cover , but if the overabundance of soap caused by the bissel causes problems we would have to charge for any re cleaning we may have to do. ( called her back yesterday and she said it looked perfect, she is selling the house and she is a happy camper. ) Make sure she didn't clean Mom's and Sis's carpets with the Bissel also.!!!
