You can challenge my responses if you like. However, we all know how much BS goes on in this business by unprofessional, unethical so called cleaners, that are IICRC certified. If you don't know, you have been leading a sheltered life. If you think they will receive a higher level of service just because they choose an IICRC certified cleaner, think again. I am not FCT certified and never have been. I will put my 26 years experience in floor maintenance against any certified FCT, anytime. The BSing to get the job was just an example of what other companies will do to get a job. You know as well as everyone that the IICRC expects their registrants to police for them. Hence the first line in my post. I could go on about this, but the point is moot. Bottom line is, you send them your dues and I don't. You defend them, I won't. Let's just agree to disagree. Maybe they think that's what they represent. Instead of losing my cool, I will just say that I have to disagree with you. |

thats a good idea cmaster lie just to get the job. and when he shows up to do the job and they ask to see his certification than what, lie aging, "oh must have left it in my other pants" they want certified techs for a reason A HIGHER LEVEL OF SERVICE. thats what the IICRC represents.

Make sure whoever gets the job has a FCT on staff. Otherwise report them to IICRC. I'm sure that will do a lot of good. I have a better idea. Tell them you are FCT certified so you get the job instead of the other BS'ers. Who's gonna report you? The other BS'ers. Edited by cmaster |

A month ago there was a bid opportunity to do floor work at ambulance stations....the bid specified that the techs has to be IICRC certified. NO BS but WTF? I'm talking strip / wax / burnish. Imagine you're good enough to do the huge Loblaws or Future Shop but not qualified to do a little ambulance "house"! I believe the tender was for the Region Of Peel....man I say F them and their IICRC! |
