i do color repair and it's no 30 or 40 k per year 10 to 15 maybe, and steamer's right you have to be good at it. but the people i do work for know not to expect an exact match, only that it will be better. i can't stress that enough... it will only be better NOT perfect.

Colour repair is a great upsell service if your good at it.... We don't bother with it, people complain if you can't match the colours exact.... it's like anything else..... scotchgard can add 30% to the bottom line if you can sell it.... if the avereage truck should pull in around 150 thou a year 30 thousand dollars doesn't seem an unreasonable amount... on paper that is

I've got a couple boxes of Crayolas so yeah,,I do color repair.
just started but the numbers over there seem to be very inflated as usual

HOW MANY OF YOU ARE DOING COLOUR REPAIR? WHAT % OF GROSS SALES IS IN COLOUR REPAIR/CORRECTION. Someone on the ICS board thinks we could do between $30,000 and $40,000 a year in this area????????????????? |
