I can just imagine the makers of I-Pod to wait for a handfull of customers to purchase their product..........or Sears to shop at their store.......better still Beatrice to buy their milk and Yogourt.............Without advertising you will never amount to anything more than what you perceive yourself to be ( A big fat Zero depending on others to boost your career )
Even schools & universities advertise ( what better mouth to mouth situation can you get from thousands of students..........BUT IT DOES NOT WORK........That's why they advertise )
The stats on mouth to mouth commercial advertising generates 1 new customer for every 20 to 30 existing

the more different forms of advertising the better...
on the truck
yellow pages
flyer hand outs
coupon pack
back of buses
bus shed..
the more you do the mor sucessful you'll be..
unless you just want to get by word of mouth is not enough...
you have to spend till it hurts

I remember when Brick first got here... do you believe they had empty trucks running back and forth on the 401 just to advertise????
you can't be afraid to go for the gold....if I could afford to spend more money I would... I haven't sent out any ads since april, and the phone is still ringing, but it would ring more if I did...thats my point!

Well see u guys are exaggerating the point i was trying to make like I had said before first you advertise as much as you could then you cut it down a bit when people know who you are. For example Stanley Steemer or Chem Dry who doesn't know who they are. In my local yellow pages even I have a bigger ad than Stanley Steemer.

Well yeah I guess so I think we're taking this simple question way too personally , you see we're both right in our own way. The final thing is that customer satisfaction is always the top priority and always keep a business mentality. Also you always have to keep investing in your business and always set goals and be optimistic.
