I can't believe you all miss the marketing behind the well dressed & groomed carpet cleaner sporting a white shirt and tie...............let me give you all a hint...........GO OUT AND BUY A WHITE SHIRT AND LOOK LIKE A PRO AND YOU TOO CAN MAKE MONEY.............THE SERVICE INDUSTRY IS NOT ALL ABOUT CLEANING..............IT'S ABOUT  "SERVICE"

Wearing a tie has been suggested to me before, but there's just no way. The fact that I look neat, clean, and speak English well sets me apart just fine in San Diego. Most of the cleaners I see in my area either look like punk kids or pot-bellied guys with bad backs (who at least look like they know what they're doing). The best dressed dudes are from Zero-Rez, but their prices are some of the highest. If I could afford their marketing, maybe mine would be that high also.
