Start from the beginning. How did you clean it, David?

I used proforce carpet extraction cleaner as mix 2 oz to a gal. went back next day and did the same thing suck the water out more. I called the custermer this morning and he said it looked a lot better. If it browning from over wetting will it just keep getting worse. Can I just spray brown out on it or will I have to use truck mount and re do. Thinks. going to take a class as soon as one comes around here.

the class wont help you....
I would just clean again with some textile rinse... no pre-spray...double dry vac... and a air mover in the mix would help... if you want to go the extra mile you could spray brownout on top od it after it's cleaned

Easydale, First learn how to spell the word "Wool" then do a burn test.
Just kidding, my speling is terrible. But my slogan is "I can't SPELL but I sure can CLEAN!" especially since I purchased a Rotovac 360.

You don't need to do a burn test if it is wool you should be able to tell by the smell, once wool is wet you will know it is wool! Simple as that, and I would not re-clean time after time if it is browning than apply a topical treatment, brush it in and let it work.

Except of course for the fact that if you have taken a course, perhaps even tested for your CCT cert from IICRC, this would have never happened... All of the guys we hire have to complete their CCT before they are allowed to touch a wand. They are required to complete their CRT before their six-month mark.

The damn class will not help you.... it barely touches on browning.....and for sure it doesnt talk about way to prevent browning....
there are a lot of factors that cause browning...
the CCT course goes in detail about NONE of them..
he's done what we all have done.... learned from our own damn mistake
