I don't trust bagless vacs. I've heard nothing but bad things about them. But this is the first time I've heard anything about the Dyson. Maybe they got it right.

nothing is impossable. it just hasn't been done yet.

I was at a Canadian Tire store and they have a vaccuum that comes close to the " Dyson " @ $ 199.00 compared to the $ 479.00 I paid for the Dyson I bought one to try out and keep as a spare...........VERY, VERY, VERY CLOSE TO THE DYSON......It's called Infinity and as the Dyson when almost full it does not lose suction

Motor is almost identical , circuits as well , body construction & durability ( who knows, I'd have to throw it off the roof ) design and system of vaccuum and attachments the same......If it lasts me 1 year of everyday ( 2 hr use ) my cost will be  27.5 cents/hour.........I think I can afford to buy a new one every year LOL

GOOD LUCK LOL.................Allow me to enlighten you to the many adventures you will experience conquering your journey through THE " SANITAIRE COMMERCIAL VACUUM PURGATORY "....FIRST OFF ......get yourself a NOSH FILTER MASK & FACE VISOR for the enjoyment of emptying the bag........SECOND......the bag eventually in time will develop tiny microscopic holes that will gently supply you , your walls, and the furniture with a fine mist of yesterdays dust mites.....THIRD.........the top upper right hand corner of the bag will tear at the seam showering you with a steady stream of dust right into your mouth & eyes...................FOURTH........the rubber band that turns the beater brush stretches from the heat of the motor and has to be replaced every 2-3 weeks ( I used to have to buy a box of 125 for the year )......FIFTH.......the machine is bottom heavy and hard to manouver especially when the setting is on low pile and screws seem to come lose and fall out from the metal plate that helps the unit glide on the carpet.....SIXTH............the rubber band that borders the unit becomes lose for some reason and must be glued from time to time.....SEVENTH...............the plug breaks  from unplugging the unit often ( I had to replace the plugs with a locking system ).........EIGHTH......the on/off button breaks no fewer than 3 times/year and requires 2 hours to fix or replace......................NINETH........the beater brush itself developes cracks in the wood and the green/blue plastic glides fall out..........................So there you have it.........perhaps you should take the plunge and discover for yourself what number 10 problem will be

How do I know all this........you may ask....................3 years ago I had a large contract and purchased 8 brand new Sanitaire units and each and everyone of them had exactly the same problems............

MAYBE YOU SHOULD TELL YOUR GURU TO SIT ON IT............. AND SPIN

You want to know what he'll say.........................Nightrider had the old models, they're different now...........all the problems were fixed..........and maybe so.................but....................as for me...................I'll never buy another Sanitaire.......................and my comments should in no way stop you from making the purchase.............give them a shot............but, I still believe you can't beat a Pile-Lifter

I guess when SUCKING  sh*t out of carpets for so long, it brings you to a higher level of purity.......

I feel the word GOD is used too freely in movies, & print......we should have more respect for our Father in heaven...

With that said, let's just say Mikey P , is a sh*t sucking carpet Saint
